Dr. James Denton

Dr. James “Jim” Denton was born and raised right here in Burleson, Texas. Dr. Denton attended Burleson High School before graduating from Texas A&M University. He then went on to further his education at Baylor College of Dentistry and graduated with a Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree in 2012.

As a member of the American Dental Association, Fort Worth Dental Society, The International Congress of Oral Implantologists, and Academy of General Practitioner Orthodontics, Dr. Denton is committed to the pursuit of excellence in dentistry through a wide variety of continuing education courses in the areas of general dentistry, oral sedation, dental implants, orthodontics, and cosmetic dentistry. Dr. Denton has a special interest in the field of dental implants to give patients lasting smiles with the latest technology in a relaxing environment.

Jim is married to his best friend, Jennifer. The pair have a dog, Opus, and a cat, Hallie. Dr. Jim Denton is the son of Dr. Bob Denton, a veterinarian who served Crowley for over thirty years, and Robyn Denton, a retired Burleson ISD teacher. Dr. Denton enjoys volunteering at community events, hiking, scuba diving, spending time with his family, and helping his dad on the farm.

This was my first time at Dental Visions and it was a great experience. I saw Dr. Johnson and Madeline did my x-rays and Lacy was the hygienist I saw. They were all so very personable and knowledgeable and make you feel so very comfortable. Everyone at the front desk was also very nice and friendly. Well it finally happened, Dr. Denton told both my wife and I that we each had a tooth that was not doing well and would need to have something done in the future. That was on one of our regular visits to see him to have our teeth cleaned. Well here we are a couple of years later and I had to have a root canal done on my tooth and my wife had to have one tooth pulled. Dr. Denton recommended a specialist and he did a root canal on me and my wife had to have her bad tooth pulled and is getting a bridge to fix her problem. As for me Dr. Denton fixed me up with a Crown and I am good as new again. My wife will get her bridge as soon as she heels up. We recommend Dental Visions for your Dental needs. We have used them for seven years now and will continue to use them. 11-5-2024

They say first impressions are important, the staff and Doctors at Dental Visions proved that every detail is vey important, and their patients are priority. The staff were very helpful and professional. They answered all my questions and listened to all my concerns. Very detailed and patiently took the time to do a thorough evaluation as I was a new patient. They were very accommodating as they were able to schedule me for my 1st cleaning the same day. They use the best and newest dental technology tools available, they exceeded my expectations. I have scheduled the rest of my family after my 1st visit, for them to also be treated for all of their dental needs with this amazing group of dental professionals. 8/1/24Carolyn and Dr. Johnson are amazing! Both had a gentle touch and provided strategies and suggestions for products to improve my dental/gum health. I loved the TV on the ceiling and the big computer screen to illustrate pictures of suggested products. My husband and I appreciate the professional and welcoming environment from the receptionist, front desk personnel, hygienist and doctor!Previous visit:My 6 month check up was great. Dr. Johnson explained as she worked on my teeth and made me feel as comfortable as is possible when someone is working in your mouth 😉. I even got to watch an episode of my favorite Netflix series!I had a great dental experience at Dental Visions in Burleson! Dr. Johnson was very professional and had a gentle touch as she checked my gums. Dr. Johnson explained each step of the procedures and consistently made sure I was comfortable as she also gave me a fluoride treatment. She was very thorough and explained the results of the xrays. Her assistant, Ashley, was gentle and friendly as well as she took xrays of my teeth and made whitening trays for me.
