Dental X-rays, or radiographs, are used to detect abnormalities in the teeth and bones of the face. X-rays are a necessary component of a complete oral exam. Without them, there is no way to detect dental decay or tumors of the bones when they are in their early stages. In both cases, early detection is critical to successful treatment. The dentists at Dental Visions are committed to minimizing the number of X-rays taken on our patients while ensuring that a complete oral exam is performed annually.
